The "HUB"

The Huntingdon Unitas Building is the name we have given to our location. The building is really three buildings that were merged years ago by the Union National Bank which eventually became the Unitas National Bank. The front part of the building (where the front door is located) was built in 1904. Up until just a few years ago the property was still used as a bank, most recently by First Commonwealth Bank.

We have turned the front lobby into a Tea Bar and Gift Shoppe. The back lobby is where we will hold our Tea Events but can also be rented to groups who need a large meeting or banquet room. The original vault is still located behind the main lobby and will eventually house a small “museum” with memorabilia of the building and area.

While we have located our businesses in the front part of the building, The HUB is home to several others including, Karl Lang, Huntingdon Borough Tax Collector and the Center for Community Action, Executive Director, Ann Foor.

We are very excited and honored to be preserving this property and revitalizing this little piece of Huntingdon. If you are in the neighborhood please do stop by and say hello.
